Personal Hygiene

Body - No body odour, no body piercing, no visible tattoos. You should bathe or shower daily.

Hair - No inappropriate styles. Your hair should be clean and tidy. Long hair should be tied back and off the face. No fancy hair accessories are permitted.

Hands - Must be washed regularly, especially after visiting the toilet, after breaks, before starting work and between tasks. Cuts and sores must be covered. Your nails should be clean and short. Nail varnish is not permitted.

Sickness

You should never cough or sneeze near food. A clean tissue should be used to hold the cough or sneeze, which should then be immediately thrown away. Hands must then be washed.

You must inform The Temp Agency immediately if you are suffering from any of the following conditions food poisoning, typhoid/paratyphoid, dysentery, hepatitis, influenza, ear or throat infection, stomach upset and nausea. Please note under no circumstances should you work while suffering from any of the above.

Personal Habits

Smoking is forbidden in any unauthorised area. You must always obtain permission from your immediate supervisor who will advise you of the designated smoking area. You must always wash your hands after smoking and you must never chew gum while working.
